Welcome back. I hope that everyone is doing well.

All games canceled for Tuesday, July 5. We will restart regularly scheduled games on Wednesday, July 6. I have attached a schedule. Please let me know if you have any trouble opening the attached.

We have 5 days worth of make-ups. I.m not sure of the best approach. Men.s C can be moved to the first two weeks in August. We can use the fields on Fridays (but I will need to seek approval from the county.) Coaches, I.m looking for your input. No makeup games will be planned for this week, but if Fridays are an option, I.d like to start this next week.

Here are the schedules for the season opening tournament.

In order to run the tournament smoothly, will establish timelimits for our games, and will have some discretion for semi-finals and finalgames. The umpires will be instructed and will be communicating rules to your teambefore each of your first games.

Im pleased to announce that Chris Alcala has accepted the UIC position for the league. Chris has played and umpired for many years. He brings to our league a wealth of knowledge. He is passionate about the game and will bring a high level of integrity. I look forward to working with Chris to get the season off to a good start.

Id like to get started with the 2011 softball season for Mens and womens leagues. Im not planning a meeting. I may schedule something at the fields if nessasay.

Schedule:
Tentative schedule as follows (confirmation of schedule to follow over the next 2 weeks):
Pre-season tourney - April 30 May 1
Regular Season to start May 9.

Leagues:
Im planning a structure similar to past years. Mens A, B and C, Womens A. This will be entirely dependent upon the number of teams that register. Please insure that you identify the division clearly on your sanction form.

Fees:
Fees for 2011 will be set at $575.00. We will be establishing a work party for the fields, and will credit each team that participates $50.00.

Sanction Form:
Attached is the 2011 Sanction form. If you are entering a team I will need you submission by April 22. You can mail your completed form to:
